Want to take 15 people out on the water in Amsterdam? Then you don’t want any hassle. You want to sail together, have good seats, drinks within reach and someone at the helm who knows the city. At Mokumboot, you can sail together with 15 people on one of our boats, as a private cruise with a skipper or with your group on one of our public cruises. No strangers on board, no fixed route you’re stuck with. You get on board, we take care of the rest.
Always a private boat with a skipper
Are you booking a private boat with a skipper for 15 people? Then you and your group will sail a beautiful route through Amsterdam. Our boats are suitable for groups of up to 35 people, but 15 is just the right size for a group: everyone sits comfortably, you can hear each other and there is plenty of room to move around. The skipper knows Amsterdam inside out. He is there to sail, tell stories and make sure you are relaxed on board. Our skippers speak Dutch and English and will tell you what you are seeing along the way.
The sailing route
During the cruise, the skipper will take you past the famous and quieter parts of the city. You will sail under the Magere Brug, past the Royal Theatre Carré, across the Prinsengracht and through smaller canals where the pace is slower. Do you see something along the way that appeals to you? Feel free to let us know. The skipper will take this into account within the booked sailing time and adjust the route accordingly.
How long would you like to sail?
We sail daily between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m., so there is always a time that fits your schedule.
Would you like to hire a private boat for 15 people? Then choose one of the following sailing times:
- 2-hour cruise
- 5-hour cruise
- 3-hour cruise
Two hours is perfect for a relaxed trip through the canals. Would you like to enjoy drinks and snacks or see more of the city? Then 2.5 or 3 hours is a good choice. We tailor the route to the sailing time and your wishes.
For shorter trips, you can also join one of our regular boat tours with your group.

Food and drinks during the cruise
A private boat tour with 15 people is often about having drinks together on the water. That’s why drinks are waiting for you when you arrive. Think cold beer, wine, soft drinks and other chilled beverages, so you can relax as soon as you step on board.
Would you like something to eat with that? Then there are several options. Many groups opt for a well-stocked snack platter, but you can also go all out with a pizza boat or pancake boat, where the food is served fresh on board. Would you prefer a tailor-made lunch or dinner? We will also arrange this with you in advance, so that everything is ready at the right time.
If you prefer to bring your own food or drinks, you can do so for a corkage fee. We charge €4 per person per hour. If you prefer us to arrange everything, we can coordinate it all at once.
Do you have any specific wishes? Let us know when you make your request, and we will let you know what is possible.
