The boarding point for the boats at Westerpark location is on the Westergas site and is located opposite Tony’s Chocolonely. The area is located in a car-free zone and can be reached via three bridges.

Boat rental Amsterdam Amstel – Mauritskade 1-E

Amsterdam Amstel is also one of the locations to rent a boat if you want to go out on the river. You can find Mokumboot at Mauritskade 1-E, near Wibautstraat. Boat rental Amsterdam East – Mauritskade 65

This Mokumboat harbor is located right by the public transport stop Amsterdam Muiderpoort. It’s only a few minutes’ walk away. If you’re coming by car, you can park it on the quay itself. Read more about the boarding location at Mauritskade 65.

Boat rental Amsterdam Weesper – Schollenbrugstraat 1

Do you want to sail on the Amstel? Then Amsterdam Weesper is a great place to start. You can find this boarding location at Schollenbrugstraat 1, close to Amsterdam Amstel station and near the famous cafes Hesp and Weesper. You can also park your car here. Accessibility boarding location

The Westergasfabriek site is easily accessible by car and public transport. The Westerpark is not accessible for cars, there is parking available in the area.

By car

On the other side of the water, on the Haarlemmerweg, it is possible to park your car. Paid parking is available here from Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 24:00 (€3.00 per hour).

There are several parking lots and garages within walking distance of the boarding location, including the Q Park Westergasfabriek at Van Bleiswijkstraat 8 and the Westerpark car park at Haarlemmerweg 504.

By public transport

You can travel to our Westerpark location in various ways by public transport. We recommend taking the tram from Central Station

By train

It is best to travel to Amsterdam Central station. From there you can easily travel by bus or tram to the Westerpark boarding location.

By tram

Westergas location is also easily accessible with tram line 3 (direction Westergasfabriek). From the last stop on Van Hallstraat it is a 5 minute walk to the boats on Polonceaukade.

By bus

The Westergasterrein is easily accessible from Central Station via bus 21 (direction Geuzenveld). After 8 stops, get off in the Van Hallstraat. If you walk about 250 meters in a northerly direction you will arrive at the Polonceaukade.
