Our boarding location
Mokumboot’s boarding location is in a unique spot in the city: right next to Amsterdam Central Station (Stationsplein 28). This central location makes it easy for everyone to board. The jetty is within walking distance of the city centre, making it easy to combine your boat tour with other activities. Would you prefer to board at a different location, for example closer to your accommodation or a specific location in the city? This can be arranged in consultation, and for an additional fee, we will be happy to arrange an alternative boarding location.

We recently rented a boat from Mokumboot twice, and both experiences left us very impressed with their customer service. On our first rental, our trip took almost an hour longer than expected. When we returned, we assumed we would have to pay for the extra time. Instead, the staff pointed out—before we had even noticed ourselves—that according to their data, our boat had been moving slower than it should have. They not only chose not to charge us for the extra hour, but also apologized for the inconvenience. We really appreciated that level of honesty and fairness. On our second rental, the mistake was actually ours: we went to the wrong pickup location, which had already closed. After we called them, they quickly arranged for us to pick up a boat at another nearby location and even shifted our booking by half an hour so we could still enjoy the full amount of time we had paid for. Both experiences were excellent. Mokumboot handled two very different situations with flexibility, fairness, and genuinely good customer service. That kind of service is much appreciated, and we would happily rent from them again.
