How much does it cost to rent a boat in Amsterdam?
You can rent a boat for €97.50 for 2 hours of sailing. Need more time? Then you can choose 3 hours for €140 or 4 hours for €170. These rates do not include the €2.60 tourist tax per person.
Before departure, we ask for a deposit of €100. You can easily pay this by debit or credit card. Booking is quick and easy via the website, and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.

At the beginning of the 20th century, architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage designed a plan for the area south of the center of Amsterdam. Until then, this part of the city was still underdeveloped. Is it raining cats and dogs or is a storm coming? Then you can reschedule your booking. Cancellations up to 24 hours in advance are always free of charge. Different rules apply for major events, such as King’s Day or Pride.
Yes. Upon departure, we ask for a deposit of €100. You can pay by debit or credit card. We do not accept cash.
That depends on how you booked. There are two situations:
- You have booked and paid online
You only pay the deposit on location. This is placed on your account as a reservation: your money remains in your account but is temporarily blocked. After 24 hours, this is automatically released, provided there is no damage or problems. - You booked by telephone, email or on location
In that case, you pay the rent + deposit in one go. The entire amount will then be debited from your account. The deposit will be refunded within 3–5 working days, provided everything is in order.
